Your wedding ceremony should feel like a chapter from the book you're already writing together. Not a script off a shelf. Not fifteen minutes of polite formality before the real day starts. The ceremony IS the real day.

Freedom, basically. Any venue you love, not just the licensed ones. Any words, any readings, religious or not, any rituals, any length. You can marry in a barn, a field, a woodland, your back garden or halfway up a coastal path. You can include handfasting, sand blending, ring warming, a surprise ring bearer, a reading written by your niece, a toast to someone no longer here.
I write your ceremony from scratch with you. It tells your story properly. It includes the people and moments you want it to, and leaves out the ones you don't.
The quick word on the legal bit
In England and Wales, a celebrant-led ceremony isn't the legal marriage. Most couples I work with pop to their local register office in the weeks before the wedding, sign the paperwork, and have it done in around ten minutes for roughly £80. Then the real celebration happens with me, on your actual wedding day, at the venue you love.
It's straightforward. Hundreds of couples do it every year. If it helps, I can walk you through the logistics on our first call.

I've worked in gorgeous venues across the region. Barns I love include The Gathering Barn, The Clock Barn, The Post Barn, Avington Barn, Bury Court Barn, Warbonne Farm, Pingletone Barn and The Yard at Alresford.
Outdoors, I'm love Harewood Forest, Rushmere Farm, the New Forest Outdoor Centre, and anywhere by the sea. If your venue isn't on the list, tell me about it. I'll come wherever you need me.

Every wedding I take on includes all of this, because skimping on any of it makes for a worse ceremony.
- An unhurried first meeting, face to face, on Zoom or on the phone, no obligation
- A proper getting-to-know-you process once you book, including a thoughtful questionnaire designed to surface the stories you'd otherwise forget
- A fully bespoke ceremony, written from scratch, tailored to the two of you
- Advice on readings, music, rituals and any extras you want to include
-A dedicated shared hub hosted by My Celebrant so nothing feels scary or unclear
- A pre ceremony get together to go through all the details so there is no unexpected surprises on the day
- Delivery of your ceremony on the day, with all the warmth and calm that brings
- A bespoke presentation of your ceremony script afterwards. A keepsake for the memory box.
What it costs
Wedding ceremonies and vow renewals start from £850.
The price covers everything listed above. Travel within my core areas is included. For venues further afield, I'll give you a clear quote upfront, no surprises.

Step one: let's meet
Face to face, phone or Zoom. Totally free, totally no pressure. I'll ask what you've got planned so far. You'll ask whatever you need to. If we click, we click.

Step two: your questionnaire
Once booked, I'll send you a questionnaire to work through in your own time. It's gentle prompts, not an exam. You'll be surprised what comes out of it.

Step three: crafting your ceremony
We'll shape a ceremony that works for you, weaving in the rituals and readings that feel right. I'll draft, you'll tweak, we'll land somewhere that makes you both well up reading it.

Step four: the big day
I'll arrive early, calm everyone down (including sometimes the photographer), and lead you through a ceremony that feels completely yours. I've run enough weddings to handle whatever the day throws at us.

Step five: your keepsake
After the confetti has settled, I'll send you a beautifully presented copy of your ceremony. Yours to keep for always.
